The most popular fields for job seekers were Trade/Sales, Marketing, HR (22,48%), followed closely by IT (19,48%) and then almost equally (14-15%) by Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Engineering, Technical, Other fields requiring specialized qualifications, and Administration, Customer Service.

EDUCATIONal LEVELs OF REGISTRANTS

Over 70% of our visitors hold a university or college degree, with a high number of people with OKJ qualification (12,44%) and secondary education (12,23%). The percentage of individuals with elementary education is relatively low – many of them are still in secondary school (0,51%).

AGE DISTRIBUTION OF VISITORS

More than 60% of our visitors are university graduates (25,99%) and fresh graduates with a few years of experience (36,63%). However, with our personalized and targeted communication, we successfully engaged the more experienced, senior audience as well (35-44 age group, 18,09%).

We provided numerous reasons for our visitors to feel this way about our job fair and the feedback confirm this as well.

of our visitors gave a positive (8, 9, 10) rating to our event because they felt JOBVERSE was more than just a job fair. Among them, 22,13%(!) gave the event the highest score.

JOBVERSE represents the next generation of job fairs. It combines the benefits of recruitment and entertainment events, as well as the inspiration of conferences and the effectiveness of personal counseling, while offering visitors an all-in-one solution.

THE TIME VISITORS SPENT AT THE EVENT

Based on visitor’s feedback,  nearly half of them (47,86%) spent 1-3 hours at the event. Hence, it’s essential for exhibitors to capture their attention through engaging activities and openness to ensure their visits.

However, with our additional programs (presentations, counseling opportunities, EgészségSziget, and experience elements), we successfully achieved that our visitors spent almost half a day (3-5 hours: 32,27%, 5-7 hours: 9,22%) at JOBVERSE.

Only a small but dedicated group (4,11%+3,69%) spent one or two whole days at the event. Those who spent less than an hour at JOBVERSE had the lowest percentage.

In addition to the professional programmes, thousands of people gave the experiential elements a try. They played with JOBVERSE GO, our official QR code hunting game, watched presentations in the Utazó Planetárium, rode Nissin’s the bike for some delicious soup, got first-hand experience at the PositionPark’s interactive workstations or tried the many games of Titkok Háza.

Nearly 2/3 of our visitors came to the job fair because they were actively looking for a job. The majority of them were looking for full-time opportunities (46.44%) but there was also a significant proportion of those interested in part-time/internship/second jobs (15.59%). In addition, almost 40% (39.90%) of our visitors wanted to visit a specific company that they were interested in and meet their representatives in person. The additional professional programs were also a major attraction (23.64%), and a particularly high proportion of our visitors considered it important to find out more about their potential opportunities, although they weren’t actively looking for a job (15.42%). The latter were typically students still at university or secondary school, or those about to return to the job market or just considering changing jobs.

JOBVERSE GO, the official game of JOBVERSE

We brought back our JOBVERSE GO adventure game, launched in the spring of 2023, due it's popularity. This game combines the excitement of Pokémon GO's role-playing with the passion of geocaching. Participants can connect more informally with representatives by searching for QR codes, and gain information about our exhibitors while playing. We made the game more difficult&exciting this time: in the spring of 2024 we introduced routes specialized to the visitors areas of expertise. 360 people played with us and answered the questions.

WE TOOK OUR MARKETING CAMPAIGN TO THE TOP

OFFLINE PRESENCE

We placed Citylights in several locations around the city, distributed Mini Handbooks at universities, and our tram advertisements were also displayed on lines 17, 47, 49, 56, 56A and 61, which pass by the main universities in Budapest.

PAID ONLINE PRESENCE WITH MICRO-TARGETED ADS

In the JOBVERSE marketing campaign, the various online advertising platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, Ads and TikTok, were given a prominent role.
