The Business Support Centre (BSC) of Avis Budget Group, a globally leading vehicle rental service provider, is providing support from beautiful Budapest mainly covering commercial support (consisting of various service lines such as Working Capital Management), and financial services.
The Facilities Senior Specialist will be responsible for delivering cost-optimized facilities across the business to provide an excellent working environment for employees. You will be involved in both operational planning and consistent day-to-day delivery with a strong emphasis on internal client relationships.
As a Facilities Senior Specialist your role will be:
-Ensuring smooth daily running of the BSC office by maintaining high quality office environment
-Precise and tidy handling of the employees’ requests
-Supervision of the purchasing process, continuous review of supplier relations
-Monitor and inspect services provided by various contractors regarding cleaning, maintenance, security etc.
-Support events by organizing catering services, room arrangement, audio-visual facility etc.
-Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety regulations
-Coordinate purchasing procedures, preparing tenders, gather quotes from suppliers, evaluate their proposals, and place orders
-Managing the company car fleet in financial and contracting cases
-Managing/purchasing furniture and non-IT office equipment
-Utility monitoring and reporting
-Manage various Facilities/workplace related projects
-Supporting Continuous Improvement of processes
-Closely and supportive cooperation with the other central support Functions (HR, IT)
-Keep the policies and useful information updated
-Troubleshooting of the technical building issues within the BSC

-University or College degree is an advantage
-Qualification in Facilities or Procurement management is an advantage
-1-3 years Facilities / Office management experience
-Proven experience in contract management and client negotiation
-A fluent level of English and Hungarian (both verbal and written) is a must
-A patient and helpful approach to handling employee requests or complaints
-Curiosity to think proactively, try & learn new things
-Confident level of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) knowledge
-A collaborative approach, a true team player
-Exceptional planning and prioritization skills
