We are looking for a Junior Java Software Developer for a project in the telecommunications area.
The aim of this product is that you will have to work on a tool that measures and monitors the utilization of test spaces in the customers laboratories located around the world, and these data support decision-makers in relation to high-value purchases.
The team
You will join our consultant team who works remotely, but we meet at the Sigma office once a week, and it is also possible to join the client-side project members once a week on an optional basis. The team is large but performs a variety of tasks, from development to system support.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
B.Sc./M.Sc. or ongoing education in information technology, computer science, or a similar field
0,5-2 years of experience in Java (client or server) development and related technologies
Understand the basics and operation of relational database management systems (MySQL)
Flexibility, willingness to learn new technologies
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good Linux/Unix skills
Good written and oral skills in English
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE
Familiar with CI/CD and web application security
Working experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with Docker
