JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an open-minded and flexible Medior C Developer to join our company. This role is a unique one at our organization, it does not apply to a specific project. As the company and the variety of projects grow, we will need professionals with a versatile skill set to provide technical help to the project teams who need reinforcement for example in front of a delivery. Your journey in this role will involve a lot of learning, and a great variety of work, however, it requires flexibility, adaptiveness, and openness from your side.
What will be your daily tasks in this role?
Helping different project teams in the short term, helping others learn
Acting as a technology consultant for internal teams
Building competence in the short term by understanding and gaining insight into customer needs and technical specifications
Helping to build project teams (profile creation, process support, training)
Providing sales support regarding tenders and customer relationship building
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or relevant experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field
At least 2 years working experience in C programming language
A great understanding of multi-threaded software architecture
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Solid understanding of the Unix/Linux operating system
Familiarity with configuration management tools and monitoring systems
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good written and oral skills in English
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE
Working experience in modern C++
Networking and IP protocol experience
Scripting experience (Unix Shell, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
Knowledge of agile methodologies
