Graduate engineer or technical studies with additional business qualification
Several years of experience in a purchasing or development department desired (at least 4 years)
International project experience
Business fluent English skills and possibly other foreign languages
Worldwide willingness to travel
Tasks
Representing purchasing within product development teams with the responsibility for the costs, quality and dates of the purchased parts, i.e.
Active cooperation from the concept phase to the series start-up (PEP)
Participation in the simultaneous engineering process, coordination of SE work at suppliers
Performing target-costing activities, e.g. ideas & concept competition
Cost Down / RPP: Participation in teams, purchasing-side coordination
Introducing the purchasing strategy into the development projects
Demonstrate savings potentials and alternative solutions
Controls departments as part of project management
Change management: Purchasing-side coordination before SOP
Preventive quality planning within the framework of SE work and PEP
possibly carrying out safe launch in the procurement process
Project-related preventive quality planning for part release
support of global or platform projects (international coordination within the purchasing organisation)
Mentor for new employees
Active cooperation within the framework of modular strategies and Development Road Maps
Recognizing and driving ratio ideas
Sponsor within the purchasing organization for assembly systems
