JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for a team responsible for testing tools for administrative support of test environments (e.g. reservation of devices for testing, compilation of test plans, inventory, tool for managing investment process/approvals).

Your future team

You will join one of our Agile cross-functional consultant team to add the necessary test-related mindset. The Sigma teams have E2E responsibilities on the project and work in partnership with our customers. Your teammates are dedicated to supporting each other. Training, mentoring, and feedback on your progression is provided for you to succeed.

How will you make an impact in this project?

With your proactive attitude and openness to share new ideas – as a tester in the Sigma scrum team you will have an important role in the successful development of designing and testing the implementation of the product’s functional and non-functional requirements.
With your eagerness to learn – The product is very complex with multiple components; it takes time to gain domain insight. However, we are dedicated to helping you with a well-developed project onboarding and helpful teammates to assist.
With your desire to understand things in depth, but also being able to see the big picture – we provide wide insight into the project, and we are open to hear your ideas and suggestions.
With your ownership of the implemented functionality – from design and implementation to production troubleshooting.
With gaining more project insight and domain knowledge, you will have the opportunity to develop into project mentor or technical lead roles.

What could be your tasks as part of one of our teams?

Developing and maintaining functional and non-functional tests
Monitoring, debugging of automated tests, participation in process improvement and internal tool development
Test environment development and system test automation
Automation of system-level UI tests in Robot framework (Python)
Creating a test environment with a Test Engineer approach.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
B.Sc./M.Sc. in information technology, computer science, or a similar field
Experience as a Test Automation Engineer
Solid Linux (command line) knowledge
Knowledge of testing concepts & strategies
Experience in Python, Java, TTCN, JCAT, or any other test framework or script language
Familiarity with Git, Github or similar revision control systems
Experience in Automated Test Environments
Good written and oral skills in English

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE
Experience working with CI tools, such as Jenkins
Familiarity with a ticketing system, preferably JIRA
Networking knowledge
