The name "JOBVERSE" was born from a long brainstorming session, combining the English words 'job' and 'universe', and it carries one of our key messages: the possibilities are endless at JOBVERSE, where visitors can find everything they need to support their job search and career development, all in one place, spiced up with a whole range of experiences.
Our story began in the autumn of 2022, when we dared to dream big and created Hungary's first experiential event, JOBVERSE Job Fair.
In September 2022, we organized a job fair where job seekers could not only meet company representatives in person, but also listen to the tips of speakers who have several years of experience in their fields at the Career Stage, and get personal advice from experts on career development at the Counselling Workshop, while gaining real experiences.
The first Job Fair was followed by many improvements based on the feedback from visitors (and of course exhibitors), and we have created a much more effective and well-attended fair for spring 2023.
In the autumn of 2023, we felt it was time to innovate, so in addition to the experiential elements and our job-seeker program venues, the Counselling Workshop and the Career Stage, we organized two conferences within the Job Fair: the automotive-focused Automorrow and the work-life balance-focused WomanUP, where renowned names such as Zoltán Szujó and Szabina Tomán gave presentations.
The conferences required a lot of preparation, but were well worth the effort as they were a great success with visitors. WomanUP will return again this autumn!
In the spring of 2024, we came up with two other innovations to make the job search process easier for our visitors.
One of them was PositionPark, where visitors could get a taste of the world of work - literally! In the PositionPark area, job seekers could interactively try out different roles at some of our exhibitor.
Our other innovation was TurboSelection. At the event, you can submit your CV and apply for the positions you like in one tap, but with Turbo Selection we upped the ante and now you can even have your first round of job interviews with some of our exhibitors!
Over the years, countless professional contacts have been made, careers have started and memories have been made at JOBVERSE. Now it's your turn to share them!

Because it's a chance to take a look back at how far you've come since then, to inspire others or even make them laugh, and of course, to win big! We'll draw the 5 best stories to win one of the following prizes:
The 5 best stories will be selected through an online voting, which will be announced on our Facebook page/website from 21 to 27 October 2024.
The organizer reserves the right to publish the stories submitted in the competition on the organizer's website (jobverse.hu), on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok) and on the 2024.
