To make sure we’re as aligned as possible across functions, most of our work rolls up into four tribes; Acquisition, Retention, Claims and Pricing, Underwriting & Fraud. Each tribe has multiple teams embedded in it, working cross-functionally to do great work.

What youll be doing
– Reaching out to customers with outstanding invoices after their policy has ended primarily through outbound phone calls, email and SMS.
– Actively guiding, negotiating and influencing customers to clear their outstanding invoices.
– Liaising with other teams to resolve and respond to customer queries. (e.g. underwriters, claims handlers, premium finance partner, etc.)
– Building expert knowledge of our product, systems, and processes through comprehensive training.
– Keeping compliance at the forefront of your mind, making sure that everything we do and say is in accordance with FCA guidelines.
– Helping to provide the best outcome for our vulnerable customers.
– Working with a fantastic, motivated and intelligent team.

Who you are
– Motivated, driven, and eager to positively influence good customer outcomes and reduce debt.
– You are productive, efficient and target driven, balancing quality with performance.
– You have excellent communication skills (listening, rapport building, negotiation).
– A self-starter who is open to experimenting with different ways of working and adapting to change, as well as working in accordance with the Collection Team’s debt structures and workflows.
– You enjoy finding solutions to problems you come across rather than waiting on others to do this for you.
– You believe in Marshmallow’s products and mission, and are able to utilise your enthusiasm to positively help customers clear their debt and resolve their queries.
– Eager to take on the challenges that come with a growing business.
– Show initiative and not afraid to contribute to help with process improvements.

What were looking for from you
– Experience working in Collections or customer facing roles
– Experience working in an admin role
– You have a goal driven mindset and drive to meet targets
– You have worked as part of a team
– Possess excellent English speaking and writing skills
