Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation, service delivery and strategy.

In this position, you need to:

Supervise the operating of the given type of mainframe services, while maintaining respective service levels, deadlines and budgetary limitations
Coordinate the service delivery activities, monitor the work progress, and handle emerging problems and conflicts
Work in close collaboration with lead Service Delivery Management involved and other connected units, on developing and optimizing processes on priorities
Ensure, that changes are implemented, and incidents and problems are handled within the undertaken deadlines and at the contracted service levels
Generate, customize and maintain delivery reports (eg. showing agreed service KPIs, service levels, assets and costs)
Supporting SDeM during creation of reasonable mainframe deployment orders
Participate in projects, development of new services or on demand
Provide commercial support of SDeM concerning mainframe deployment ordersand cost optimization

Qualifications

Fluent german and andvanced english language knowledge
Agile methodology knowledge is an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Negotiation techniques
Structural problem-solving abilities
Analytical skills and the ability to interpreting

Advantages:

Management abilities would be an advantage as well as the readiness to take over responsibility also for difficult topics with a full engagement
