Our German multinational partner company is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead colleague for their SSC.
The AP Team Lead is responsible for a team of 10-15 AP Accountant, and Senior AP Accountant, and participate in operative tasks as well.
The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in an accounts payable role, 2+ years of team lead experience, and fluent English and German knowledge.

Your tasks will be as an Accounts Payable Team Lead:
· Lead a team of (Senior) Accountants to deliver Accounting services to all customers
· Manage ongoing operations of the team. Plan and monitor the capacity and workload of the team, hire additional team members according to anticipated workload
· Play an active role in the transition of accounting processes
· Coordinate and control the knowledge transfer
· Participate and lead projects assigned to the role
· Stakeholder management
· Coach and motivate team members
· Lead by example a cross-functional collaboration, create a motivating working atmosphere and actively drive the change management
· Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to develop a professional relationship
· Participate and lead projects assigned to the role (incl. Process optimization)

· Monitor the team’s performance against deliverables set in the Service Levels Agreements
· Be involved in day-to-day operations and participate in the periodical closing processes
· Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues (incl. process improvements)
· Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies, and procedures
· Provide qualitative customer service
Requirements:
· Fluent English and German language skills
· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and high proficiency in the end-to-end AP process
· 2 years of leadership experience
· Accounting experience beyond AP scope beneficial
· Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
· Working knowledge in SAP FI and Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
· Strong continuous improvement & quality mindset
· Experience in process automation
· Experience in process automation and finance process transitions
· Strong customer orientation
· Excellent communication skills
