Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR service delivery for the SCE in the German region and provide a progressive and consistent employee experience and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Be a hands-on sparring partner and collaborate with local HR communities to ensure HR services, processes, and policies are continuously improved and implemented effectively across the Operating Business
  • Participate actively in HR projects as well as support in the further development of HR-relevant structures/processes
  • Engage in the implementation and harmonization of international HR Shared Services service standards, processes, policies together with other SCE Leads
  • Ensure a cost-efficient set-up of Recruiting, People and Employment as well as HR Administration services and monitor the stream’s performance indicators
  • Be the human leader that your team looks up to by managing, coaching, motivating and developing every team member

 

Your profile:

  • College or university degree in business administration or comparable degree, ideally with a major in HR management
  • At least 7 years of profound experience in setting-up and running HR Shared Services with experience in managing teams with different backgrounds & professional orientations
  • Fluent in English and German (other European language is an advantage)
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Proven global leadership experience in Human Resources
  • Eager to stay current with trends in HR SCE/SSC – both in terms of business trends and technology trends that influence the area
  • Strong Leadership and change competencies
  • Be comfortable engaging at all levels of the HR organization
  • A continuous improvement mind-set with focus on the betterment of your process stream and the team itself
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills and ability to convert complex information into impactful messages/insights for top management
  • Ability to coordinate internationally and/or culturally diverse teams and to benefit from diversity
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team to fulfil organizational and personal goals and objectives​
  • Confident appearance, assertiveness as well as enjoyment of teamwork and social skills
  • Good negotiation skills, excellent communicator and networker
  • Taking initiatives to drive continuous improvement
