Team Purpose

This is a Specialist position in the Cloud organisation within Getronics. The business unit is responsible to maintain and provide excellent cloud operations services to customers. The cloud delivery organisation works closely with bid management, pre-sales, solution & service architects to support the execution of complex solutions.

Role Purpose

You will run day-to-day Azure operations for European customers, fix complex issues, and lead migrations from data-centres or private clouds to Azure. You also build automation and cost- / security-governance tooling.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

·       Drive Azure best practices implementation, review gaps in the environment and drive performance fine tuning initiatives.

·       Design virtual networks to support workloads with the highest security and performance.

·       Confgure policies, rules, autoscaling, OS hardening, etc.,

·       Configure, Deploy, Automate and resolve complex issues on Azure DevOps.

·       Perform configuration management and disaster recovery tasks on your new environment

·       Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may also validate executed test results

·       Automating Deployment and Scale of Azure IaaS Solution script, automate, and scale Azure deployments.

·       Review and drive change management along with the Team.

·       Identify Security vulnerabilities & work with the team to implement the security fixes

·       Drive cost and security governance initiatives across projects.

·       Drive Major incident management till resolution, own communication and coordinate with Stakeholders

·       Own and execute high-impact changes as well as Critical incidents.

·       Review and update of Project specific documentations.

·       Prepare KMAP of the team and create upskill / training plan

·       Work in 24/7 shifting

Required Technical Skills and Experience

·       More than 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and Cloud Operations.

·       Minimum of 5+ years in Azure Cloud Operations

·       Experience in setting up various Azure services such as VM, VNET, NSG, Storage, VPN, Load Balancers, auto scaling, availability set, AKS/ACS, Backup & Recovery, etc.

·       Good experience on handling Azure PaaS such as Azure SQL, Web Apps, WAF, etc.

·       Experience in creating Azure automation/runbooks, ARM, terraform.

·       Experience in implementing Azure best practices implementation, review gaps in the environment and drive performance fine tuning initiatives.

·       Experience in Designing virtual networks to support workloads with the highest security and performance.

·       Experience in Confguring policies, rules, autoscaling, OS hardening, etc.,

·       Configure, Deploy, Automate and resolve complex issues on Azure DevOps.

·       Experience in Identifying Security vulnaribilities & work with team to implement the security fixes

·       Experience in Performing configuration management and disaster recovery tasks

·       Experience in setting up VNet, Subnets, CDN, Endpoints, etc.

·       Experience in setting up native Azure OMS Monitoring, Application Insight.

·       Experience in setting up DNS records on Azure DNS.

·       Experienceing in Rightsizing, Cost optimization and auto scaling

·       Experience in managing any one of technology Windows, Linux, Virtualization, SQL, Oracle, Network, Firewall, etc.

·       Good understanding of ITSM process.

·       Coordinate with 3rd party partners/vendors for resolving the issues.

·       Good communication and presentation skills.
