Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute INNIO sourcing strategies for the assigned global categories
  • Implement negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations to achieve aligned goals and objectives
  • Lead supplier selection and ensure high quality supplier relationship & operational management
  • Independently manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Lead and manage global commodity sourcing strategies with an annual spend of €10 million or more
  • Ensure effective coverage and management of global supplier portfolios, driving value across multiple regions
  • Drive sourcing initiatives to meet the annual budget and cost reduction targets as well as leading productivity initiatives with cash flow and quality improvements
  • Interface with central business management and functional owners to lay out sourcing strategies, ensure business buy-in and ensure optimized internal coordination and communication
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder management by collaborating with internal business units, functional owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies and business objectives
  • Report sourcing activities and strategies to the headquarter procurement leadership on a regular basis and by KPI´s
  • Proactively support global projects/initiatives, like service productivity projects, to contribute in achieving sourcing and business goals on a local and global basis
  • Understand business compliance requirements and drive opportunities to eliminate any compliance and/or commercial risk

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Economics-Business or similar
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a senior sourcing or category management role, preferably with global commodity coverage
  • Proven track record of managing an annual sourcing volume of at least €10 million
  • Proven working experience in strategic sourcing in an internationally operating company
  • Experience of managing supplier contracts, negotiations and relationship management and ensuring service performance and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle supplier management, from selection and onboarding to ongoing performance evaluation and conflict resolution
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, with strong communication and influencing skills to align procurement activities with business needs
  • Experience working in a complex, international business environment with cross-border supplier management
  • Excellent technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen as well as influencing, negotiation and facilitating skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with a continuous improvement attitude
  • Team player mentality and the ability to work very independently
