Senior Security Expert
 

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Security Expert who combines deep knowledge in physical and technical security with a proven ability to identify business opportunities and generate leads in the oil and energy sector. This role will be key in shaping our security posture while supporting business development efforts through insight-driven risk analysis and client engagement.

Key responsibilites

• Lead the assessment, planning, and implementation of physical and technical security measures at operational sites, including remote facilities and critical infrastructure.
• Conduct investigations and support fraud detection initiatives in coordination with compliance, internal audit, and legal departments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on threats related to site operations, including theft, sabotage, and unauthorized access.
• Contribute to the development of security-related service offerings and generate new leads in collaboration with commercial and client-facing teams.
• Support pre-sales security assessments, client briefings, and contribute to RFP/RFQ processes where security input is required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance  protection measures.
• Represent the organization on client meetings to ensure consequence management and  expand our professional network.
   

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate or industrial security roles.
• Demonstrated experience in physical site security management, technical protection systems, and security technology integration.
• Strong knowledge of fraud risk indicators and investigative techniques.
• Proven ability to support business development by identifying security-related opportunities and engaging clients effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Criminology, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
