About the job:
As an A2R Trainee, you will support the CHC Global Business Services (GBS) team in delivering high-quality accounting services. You will contribute to process improvements, standardization efforts, and key projects across general ledger, asset, inventory, and cash accounting. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in financial operations and reporting within a dynamic, global organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver general ledger accounting, closing, and reporting services within the defined scope.
  • Perform month-end closing procedures in line with the financial calendar.
  • Ensure accurate booking of recurring and non-recurring items, reconciliations, and manual journal entries.
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and analysis.
  • Participate in fixed asset and inventory lifecycle activities, including depreciation, valuation, and impairment reviews.
  • Assist with inventory costing and coordinate stock-count activities.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and book transactions related to financial instruments, debts, and loans.
  • Contribute to month-end closure and reporting for cash, asset, and inventory accounting.

About you:

  • A background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—either through studies or recent graduation—will help you thrive in this role.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail come naturally to you.
  • You’re comfortable using Excel and open to learning ERP systems like SAP.
  • Collaboration is important to you, and you communicate clearly with others.
  • Fluency in English is essential; any additional language skills are a plus.
  • You bring curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
