About the job
As the A2R Europe Hub Lead, you will lead the transformation and harmonization of Account-to-Report (A2R) processes across the region. You will define and implement core business processes, drive standardization, simplify the user experience, and ensure compliance with global and local guidelines. Your leadership will be key in building a high-performing team, fostering continuous improvement, and delivering operational excellence.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for end-to-end A2R services, aligned with Opella’s broader global objectives.
- Lead the regional A2R hub, ensuring seamless business operations and service delivery.
- Implement and oversee the A2R governance model, collaborating with regional and country stakeholders.
- Drive process standardization, identify improvement opportunities, and lead transformation projects, including automation and digitalization.
- Establish and track KPIs to monitor performance, address gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
- Take on the ownership and accountability for the accounting quality for the Europe Hubs
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX standards, and audit requirements.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and support professional development across the region.
- Maintain open communication with global leadership and A2R teams in other regions to share best practices and ensure alignment.
About you
- Strong process knowledge with the ability to redefine and optimize end-to-end processes to support business needs.
- Demonstrate solid experience (5+ years) in managing operational teams and/or leading transition projects.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent; CPA or Chartered Accountancy certification preferred.
- Strong IFRS knowledge
- Experience in Group Accounting, Consolidation, Internal Controls, and audit (internal or external).
- Excellent technical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage at all levels of the organization.
- Change agent with a transversal mindset, able to work across processes, geographies, and cultures.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
