NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing, debugging, testing and configuring software for Embedded Linux based systems.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- 3+ years of commercial experience in software development.
- 1+ year experience in development for OS Linux.
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux ecosystem.
- Solid knowledge of C/C++.
- Knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
- Experience in design of multithread applications.
- English speaking level B1 or higher.
WILL BE A PLUS:
- Strong understanding of Linux system architecture, including kernel and init systems.
- Experience with driver development.
- Familiarity with networking and network protocols.
- Experience with Yocto.
- Ability to manage complexity across board support packages (BSPs), build artifacts, and deployment flows.
