As a Buyer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating/modifying suppliers in the Oracle system, using appropriate company tools (e.g., HICX), and supporting and
managing suppliers daily activities.
- Requesting quotations through the “iSupplier Portal”, providing suppliers with the necessary documents for quotations and supporting technical compliance.
- Managing bids across multiple suppliers using company tools (e.g., electronic bidding, etc.).
- Placing purchase orders (POs) for qualified and non-qualified suppliers, using appropriate ERM tools and initiating internal processes.
- Ensuring timely issuance of POs for assigned products/POR.
- Updating Oracle ERP with documents necessary for PO approval.
- Analyzing and tracking supplier delivery date accuracy for FPQ activities, creating reports, and supporting prioritization based on business needs.
- Supporting key procurement initiatives through supplier relationships.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- BSc or MSc degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economics, or possess equivalent knowledge and experience
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Motivation and proactivity, ability to support teamwork and collaboration in a cross-functional environment.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives.
