Job description
In your new position as Development Engineer (f/m/div)* in Electrical Research and Development in the Industrial Power Control Division, your new tasks will include:
The development of power semiconductor modules and semiconductor technologies in cross-site interdisciplinary teams
Planning and carrying out the electrical and thermal characterization of the semiconductor devices and modules
Evaluation and analysis of data, as well as presentation of the results as a basis for decision-making on technical topics
Triggering and tracking the creation, commissioning and testing of prototypes up to the start of series production
Creation, review and approval of data sheets and test specifications
Administration and improvement of the data sheet software, including database management
Preparation of technical reports
Support in change management
Your Profile
As a Development Engineer* in electrical development, you are responsible for ensuring that our products achieve the best electrical performance and efficiency. You will work in interdisciplinary teams covering the entire spectrum from materials science, electrical and mechanical design to semiconductor physics.
You successfully meet the requirements if you:
Have successfully completed a university degree in physics or electrical engineering
Have a sound knowledge of power electronics / semiconductor components IGBT, MOSFET and diodes
In addition, have sound experience in the field of electrical and thermal measurement technology, as well as statistical test planning
Are familiar with software for scientific data evaluation
Have a strong focus on organization, with a self-driven mindset, while teaming up for the best results
Be able to communicate confidently in English
Preferably have Hungarian business level knowledge. German language skills would be an advantage, however not a must
Have occasional (annual / semiannually) availability to travel within Europe, to participate in cross functional projects / trainings
