ABOUT THE JOB

Ceva-Phylaxia seeks applicants for the full-time position of Senior Buyer Strategic CAPEX Projects in the Purchasing Platform Phylaxia and Germany, located at Ceva-Phylaxia Campus in Budapest’s 10th district. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Platform Purchasing Manager, the Senior Buyer CAPEX projects consolidates CAPEX spend across countries and domains, leads strategic sourcing and supplier management for major investments, and ensures optimal cost, quality, and delivery for equipment and infrastructure projects.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Develop and implement CAPEX purchasing strategies, policies, and sourcing plans.
• Conduct market analysis, drive cost-saving initiatives and TCO optimization.
• Support complex, high-value investment projects with purchasing and contract management expertise.
• Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with Legal to formalize agreements and oversee contract execution with project teams.
• Consolidate CAPEX spend, track KPIs, and report on cost savings and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate CAPEX purchase records and supplier documentation.
• Support CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, and provide procurement insights for project planning.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Master’s degree in engineering or economics
• 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the Pharma, FMCG, or food industry
• Fluent in English and Hungarian, with strong negotiation skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and negotiation abilities
• Experience in supplier relationship management and contract handling
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
