Job description
In your new position as Development Engineer (f/m/div)* in Electrical Research and Development in the Industrial Power Control Division, your new tasks will include:

The development of power semiconductor modules and semiconductor technologies in cross-site interdisciplinary teams
Planning and carrying out the electrical and thermal characterization of the semiconductor devices and modules
Evaluation and analysis of data, as well as presentation of the results as a basis for decision-making on technical topics
Triggering and tracking the creation, commissioning and testing of prototypes
Creation, review and approval of data sheets and test specification
Product administration and support of data base evolution
Preparation of technical reports

You successfully meet the requirements if you:

Have successfully completed a university degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering
Have a sound knowledge of power electronics / semiconductor components IGBT, MOSFET and diodes
In addition, have sound experience in the field of electrical and thermal measurement technology, as well as statistical test planning
Are familiar with software for scientific data evaluation
Be able to communicate confidently in English
German language skills are an advantage, but not a must
