We are currently seeking a GL Accountant for our Budapest office, who will be part of our Finance Team of four.
What will be your tasks in this team?
Completing accounting tasks such as checking and entering supplier invoices
Checking and accounting of issued (customer, employee) invoices
Calculating and accounting of taxes in kind
Bookkeeping of taxes required for monthly closure, accruals
Handling monthly verification and clarification of general ledger numbers
Preparing customer invoices
Downloading and accounting bank statements and factor invoices
Checking bank balances, transfers, currency conversions, initiating transfers
Managing tangible asset administration, depreciation, derecognition
Administrating tasks related to company car and insurance
Providing KSH data services, participating in audits, preparing financial reports
Preparing tax returns (yearly and quarterly)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3-5 years of accounting/finance experience (preferably in an accounting office)
Up-to-date knowledge of taxation and accounting
Confident knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Excel is particularly important
Effective problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in an organized manner
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE
CPA certification
Experience using Kulcs-Soft
Detail-oriented, well-organized
Intermediate English language skills, primarily in writing
