In this role You will:
Operate and maintain end to end month / quarter / year end close processes in a timely and accurate manner for complex or difficult accounting areas requiring extensive experience to ensure the correct reporting and accounting treatment.
Perform other (non-close related) accounting activities independently, these will include daily / weekly / monthly tasks.
Carry out balance sheet reconciliation work for businesses / countries supported, review reconciliations performed by the BPO/Accountant or Analyst – query resolution will be handled independently based upon previous experience.
Support internal and external audit working closely with counterparties to ensure timely follow up and resolution on queries.
Resolve queries and issues as they arise, working with the Business / Country teams or other support from within company
Provide support for implementation of on-going and new projects such systems simplification, legal organization structure simplification and compliance matters
Drive process improvements of a notable nature across the team, taking a leading role in implementing changes in processes and tools.
To review and assure key deliverables from other team members and ensure processes and controls are applied consistently.
What You need to be successful:
Relevant degree and 5+ years’ experience in related Finance area
Strong proven analytical and system thinking skills and financial knowledge
Fluency in English
Exhibit a high level of analytical skills, numeracy, and financial understanding.
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Maintain a customer- and service-oriented attitude.
Experience in working multinational environment, preferably in SSC sector
Display readiness for action and thrive in pressure-filled environments.
Project self-confidence in interactions with internal and external contacts.
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
