NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for an Assistant IT Trainer/Mentor in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

We’re seeking enthusiastic Assistant IT Mentors to support our Learning & Development Center, helping students grow and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Our goal is to create new and improve existing IT courses to make learning more effective and engaging. You can apply for this vacancy as part-time or an internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in delivering engaging training sessions and workshops.
• Support the development of IT courses, working closely with lead trainers and technical experts.
• Help create and refine educational materials, including exercises, tests, and case studies.
• Contribute to the integration of modern teaching tools and gamification techniques.
• Assist in evaluating student progress and aligning content with skill requirements.
• Collaborate with trainers to enhance NIX’s educational programs.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Solid knowledge of Computer Science.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Linux, DevOps, Java, .NET, Automation QA.
• Proficient in English (B2+), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage extensive information and educational resources effectively.
• Ability to plan, analyze, and structure incoming tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

WILL BE A PLUS:

• At least 6 months of experience in IT or education.
• Prior experience as a mentor, tutor, or assistant in an IT or academic setting.
• Familiarity with IT course development or training support.
• Knowledge of the IT industry tools or workflows.
