JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join for a project in the telecommunications area.
What could be your tasks as part of one of our teams?
Configuration and deployment of software components for our product
Maintenance and configuration of environments
Management of issues affecting infrastructure
Contact and consult with your development team and architects
Development of CI/CD processes
Creating and keeping up-to-date documentation describing the system and its operation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
B.Sc./M.Sc. or ongoing education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant role
Linux system administration skills
Scripting experience (Shell, Python or Bash)
Good virtualization knowledge, operating-system-level virtualization using Docker
Development experience (preferably Python or Java)
Hands on experience with network, cloud, firewall infrastuctures
Experience working with REST APIs
Hands on experience with CI/CD
Good written and oral skills in English
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE
Experience with configuration management tools (Gerrit, Git, SVN)
Experience with building solutions such as Jenkins
Understanding microservice architechture
Database knowledge (SQL)
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems quickly
Ability to identify tasks that require automation, and automate them
Flexibility, willingness to learn new technologies
Good analytical and problem solving skills
