Our partner is an American multinational company that is in the chemical industry. They are looking for a GL Accountant colleague for their growing team.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience, and intermediate English knowledge.

The GL Accountant will participate in the month-end closing activities, as well as in the during-the-month reporting activities and bookkeeping.

Your tasks will be as a GL Accountant:

·         Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation and General Ledger accounts analysis

·         Accounting and handling of Accruals & Provisions and Wages & Salary related accounts

·         Fixed Asset accounting

·         Participate in the closing process (monthly, quarterly, yearly)

·         Contact partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT)

·         Contact local colleagues/departments from different countries

·         Contact with auditors, tax consultants

·         Data providing (Auditors, Statistic Office)

·         Responsible for USGAAP and Local accounting rules

Requirements:

·         University or College degree in Finance/Accounting or Certified Chartered Accountant

·         Intermediate English and Hungarian

·         Ability to work independently, reliability

·         Minimum 2 years relevant experience in accounting

·         Familiarity with SAP or JDE is a plus
