You will be responsible for:
Miscellaneous Accounting in General ledger and Fixed assets
Process monthly payroll accounting journal, investigate any differences
Analyse and investigate questions related to GL/FA
Perform period-end closing tasks for local and IFRS books in line with Tesco Group Accounting Policy (TGAP)
Perform periodically intercompany reconciliation in line with Tesco Group Intercompany Policy, follow-up on any difference, resolve them in line with period-closing deadlines
Periodical calculation of the cost recharge to Tesco CE entities and Tesco Stores on behalf of Tesco-BST
Reconcile GL related balance sheet accounts
Participate in the preparation of the annual financial statements
Participate in audits (internal and external), cooperate with auditors, provide auditors with the requested data, follow-up on audit findings
Practical application of local accounting standards to ensure correct statutory accounting, maintain and update the Accounting Policy
Cooperate and communicate with Group finance functions, CE finance teams, Property teams, TBST departments and other business areas.
Support Finance and non-Finance teams on any accounting-related matters
Process bookings in line with accounting policies and legal and tax regulations
Fulfil period-end tasks in Group Reporting System (HFM)
Submit Finance-related statistical reports to Hungarian Statistic Office (KSH)
Purchase Order (PO) creation for Finance / Corporate related services

You will need:
University degree
3-4 years of experience in a similar role
Min. 3 years experience in accounting role
Knowledge of accounting for Hungarian GAAP
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Upper-intermediate English knowledge
Complex knowledge of general ledger and fixed assets and related tax implications
Planning and organising/prioritisation skills
IFRS knowledge and Oracle/Hyperion knowledge is an advantage
