Job Description

Plans the equipment integration for new and retrofitted equipment in close alignment with local production sites. (This includes the detailed planning of the communication down to messages and even message content exchanged with the equipment.)
Coordinates the requirements and technical details of machine interfaces with the machine vendor and the supplier of the IT systems.
Configuration and testing of machine software.
Configuration of the Middleware which links the machines to the Enterprise IT landscape.
Definition of machine templates depending on different production scenarios.
Coordination of the on-site team and the service partner during test sessions.

Qualifications

Knowledge of production processes and how production equipment is working.
Knowledge of machine connectivity and software interfaces (e.g. File based interfaces, SOAP technology, TCP IP)
Good understanding of software solutions for the shop floor (e.g. MES, Machine data acquisition (MDE), Traceability solutions).
Knowledge in tools like SAP-ME, FORCAM, S4/HANA, CAQ, VisuEL, and PM are beneficial, but not a must.
Good English skills (spoken and written).
Experienced working in an international, virtual team.
