Job description
As an IT Software Engineer, you will be responsible to efficiently lead and manage our global IT Projects in the Statistical Process Control (SPC) software environment. You will ensure that our IT projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, establish risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks.
In addition, you are responsible for our global IT solutions for SPC, being the primary contact to our users, contribute in testing and rollouts, and support our global IT operation team in managing incidents. Furthermore, you will act on an international stage by interacting with on-site, regional, and global teams.

In your new role you will:

Lead and plan global IT projects in our SPC software environment, including planning and management of resources, budget, time, scope, risk assessment and quality;
Efficiently communicate with our stakeholders, internal and external project members;
You proactively identify dependencies, changes and risks in the IT project planning and control them in cooperation with the business user and the global cross-functional project teams;
Establish and execute the project governance and present the project status to the relevant stakeholders;
Be responsible for preparing, planning and implementing the respective software rollout;
Provide operational support for our SPC IT systems in our global semiconductor backend and frontend production;
Be accountable for solution administration, system maintenance, system support, troubleshooting, system health monitoring and operation to meet customer SLA targets;
Drive and proactively evaluate and deploy new measures or solution for operational stability;
Support the global operation team in 24/7 operation, incident solving and user support of our SPC applications.

You are an outspoken person with good initiative and strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills at all levels. As an enthusiastic driver of digital transformation, you

Your strong analytical skills, high level of organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills as well as assertiveness make you a great team player who operates in a global setup. Moreover, your exceptional working ethics and ‘hands-on’ approach towards your job are your best allies in the achievement of excellence.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any IT-related discipline or equivalent;
1-3 years of experience in software administration and operation, preferably in the semiconductor frontend/backend manufacturing, is desired, but not a must;
Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
Proven professional experience in project management in classic and agile project methods, desirable as a certified Agile Coach, Scrum Master or IPMA-C project manager;
Experience in IT business analyses would be a plus;
Confident and professional appearance, also in the context of escalations and critical project situations;
Experience in application administration and basic programming knowledge, like Java, Unix Shell Script, PL/SQL, XML and middleware technologies;
Knowledge in managing applications on Windows, UNIX, Linux platform;
Expertise in Oracle, and/or SQL Server databases;
Very good English language skill, good Hungarian language skills, German would be a plus.
