Job Description

Maintain and monitor the software inventory database on a daily basis, based on relevant tickets and procedures to ensure compliance
Create and maintain Process documentation, work on continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies under the supervision of the Process Owner
Assist with internal and third-party software vendor audits, industry-compliance reviews and true-ups
Provide software metering tracking and identify candidates for software harvesting using existing tools and processes
Conduct reconciliation between various data repositories to ensure consistency of all data sources
Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity of the software license data
Manage preparation and distribution of pre-defined and ad-hoc reports related to software license management
Adhere to licensing strategy in cooperation with headquarter

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant IT education on the field of Business Informatics/IT Service Management
ITIL v3 Foundation certification and working knowledge of ITIL
ITIL v4 Certification is an advantage
2-3 years proven experience in Software License Management operations is required
Experience with Hardware Asset Management is an advantage
Experience with other IT Service Management processes is an advantage
Experience with SNOW License Manager is required
Experience with OTRS ticketing tool and BMC Footprints is an advantage
sound knowledge of one or more IT Service Management toolsets ( ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, MicroFocus Service Manager, JIRA Service Management)
Fluent in English
German is an advantage
