NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Junior Automation QA Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Automated Test Script Development: Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc
Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand project requirements and define an automation testing strategy
Test Execution and Maintenance: Execute automated test suites regularly as part of the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process
Monitor test results, analyze failures, and report defects to the development team
Maintain and update automated test scripts to keep them in sync with the application changes
Integration and Regression Testing: Incorporate automated tests into the continuous integration process to ensure that new changes do not introduce regression issues
Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document and track defects found during testing using bug tracking tools
Test Data Management: Manage and create test data necessary for automated test execution. This may involve setting up and maintaining test data repositories or databases

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
At least 1 years experience as QA automation engineer
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JS or C#
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and software development principles
Basic understanding of automated testing concepts and tools
Experience in developing end-to-end UI and API tests
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in working with bug-tracking systems and version control systems
English skills at the upper-intermediate or higher level

WILL BE A PLUS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of testing frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver or Appium
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN
