About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior Data Scientist who’s curious, driven, and ready to grow. You’ll work on real business challenges, help shape data strategies, and contribute to projects across MOL Group and beyond.

This role is a great opportunity to learn from senior experts, build scalable ML and analytics solutions, and see your work make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into analytical solutions
Develop and test data science models with support from senior colleagues
Prepare clean, high-quality datasets for modeling
Experiment with algorithms and evaluate performance
Translate complex problems into efficient, scalable solutions
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and IT teams to integrate models
Contribute to the execution of ML/AI roadmap and deliver project-level tasks
Document your work and support lifecycle management of data science solutions
Help align data strategies with MOL Group’s business goals
 

About Your Experience and Skills

Education

University or college degree (or equivalent work experience)
 

Experience

1-3 years of hands-on data science experience
Familiarity with agile or Scrum is a plus
 

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of predictive and prescriptive algorithms
Experience with Python (preferred), R, or Scala
SQL and NoSQL query writing (PL SQL, T-SQL, Hive, Impala)
Familiarity with Power BI (preferred), QlikView, or Tableau
Experience with Azure or Databricks is a plus
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
 

Soft Skills

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Clear communicator with a collaborative spirit
Curious and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
Open to working across cultures and countries.
Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
