NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Junior General QA Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicating with customers.
Compiling and passing checklists.
Developing and maintaining automated scripts for UI/API.
Creating bug reports, for which you will need knowledge of the functionality of the product being tested and the subject area.
Analyzing requirements and systems.
Testing web services.
Analyzing results.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Strong knowledge of QA theory and practices.
Theoretical understanding of Agile methodology and software development principles.
Basic knowledge of any programming language (Java / Python / JS / C# / Groovy).
Understanding of client-server architecture.
Good English skills, upper-intermediate or higher.
Flexible analytical and algorithmic thinking, desire for self-development, persistence in finding solutions, and achieving goals.

WILL BE A PLUS:
Knowledge of testing frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
