Working with cutting edge technology enabling our Cloud Journey
The Platform Engineering DevOps team is responsible for managing Infrastructure as Code for parts of our Edge Layer (DNS, WAF, Cloud Functions, CDN), providing a distributed runtime platform that ensures optimal performance of our business web applications, APIs and backend services, running on containerisation platforms or virtual machines.
Building our Infrastructure Platforms with our developers and providing guidance and tooling to handle distributed systems
Continuously improve and develop our platforms based on business needs. Analyse, diagnose and solve issues of efficiency performance and scale collaborating cross functional with colleagues from different teams
Right now, we are looking to strengthen further the Platform Engineering DevOps team with strong knowledge and experience in managing Cloud Edge services, virtual machines administration, automation.

YOURE GOOD AT

Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and administering AWS Edge services such as; DNS routing policies, WAF, Lambda@edge, CDN
Strong knowledge and experience of managing virtual machines infrastructure in a geo-distributed setup, administration, and configuration. 
Managing Cloud Infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, with a good understanding of terraform modules and workflows. 
Configure Cloud Infrastructure via Configuration management as Code using Ansible or Terraform 
Experience working with cloud providers, with AWS as preference, and strong knowledge with Cloud provider services such as EC2, ALBs, and VPC 
Experience in building scalable and distributed infrastructure
Experience in using versioned source control to manage code changes
Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana. 
Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar 
Experience in using and managing Linux distributions
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Knowledge of best practices in IT operations, such as ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and DevOps principles.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required to be on an On-call support schedule.
