If you are passionate about user experience and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want you on board! As a Senior UX Researcher at Betsson Group, you will be a key player in defining, planning, and conducting user research and testing. You’ll work closely with product and customer experience teams, delivering compelling insights that drive data-driven prioritization decisions. This role goes beyond traditional UX research; it involves innovating on mixed-methods practices, understanding and incorporating business requirements, and ensuring the continuous improvement of our products based on user feedback.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 3 years of experience in a Research role at a Consumer-focused company or within a consultancy capacity.
BA/BS in a human behaviour-related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, Economics), or equivalent work-related experience.
An applied knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with a preferred focus on hypothesis validation.
Coding experience in R, SQL, SPSS, or Python is considered an asset.
Proven ability to run remote usability testing and work with User Testing Platforms & Market Research tools (e.g. UserZoom, Qualtrics, Hotjar)
Expressed a passion for, or demonstrated a willingness to learn about, the gaming/sports betting industry, showcasing an eagerness to contribute to a dynamic and evolving field
Communicated effectively as an experienced facilitator, presenter, and communicator, demonstrating proficiency in both spoken and written English to articulate research findings and insights.
Experience in helping establish a culture of evidence driven decision making within a product development environment

A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH
Problem Definition and Methodology Selection: ○ Collaborate with stakeholders to precisely define research objectives. ○ Recommend and implement the most effective research methodologies. ○ Ensure alignment with business requirements and organizational goals.
Research Planning and Execution: ○ Develop comprehensive research plans, leveraging available tools and external research suppliers. ○ Conduct or coordinate research activities, exploring alternative suppliers and tools as needed.
Data Collection and Analysis: ○ Employ diverse methods (lab studies, ethnography, surveys, A/B testing) and tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect and analyse user behaviour. ○ Creatively utilize various data sources to provide valuable insights for product development.
Results Delivery and Communication: ○ Present research findings in a compelling manner to cross-functional teams. ○ Advocate for user-centric approaches in product planning, prioritization, and ongoing improvements.
Documentation and Insight Repository: ○ Document processes and findings, maintaining a comprehensive research insights repository. ○ Create accessible resources for cross-functional teams to leverage research insights.
User Journey Mapping and Optimization: ○ Map and optimize user journeys, identifying opportunities for enhancement. ○ Define and target customer engagement metrics to elevate the overall user experience.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Road mapping: ○ Collaborate with stakeholders to build a research roadmap. ○ Plan budgeting needs in sync with the development process.
Competitor Benchmarking and Market Research: ○ Assist teams to perform competitor benchmarking and market research to stay informed and identify strategic opportunities.
