Join us as Design Engineer
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Primarily supporting service projects by designing custom made condition monitoring cabinets and solutions using Bently Nevada systems;
- Developing Panels hardware detailed design according to Customer technical specifications, internal design practices and applicable safety standards;
- Using EPLAN or AutoCAD software to create and revise Project Drawings (System Layout and internal wiring, Loop drawings for probes to racks);
- Junction box layout and wiring drawings;
- Supporting manufacturing & services related technical questions and independently leading part creation and cabinet design;
- Ensuring expected results in term of quality, execution time, and cost (within control);
- Recommending design enhancements or modifications to achieve project objectives;
- Ensuring that design meets customer needs and fulfils all technical regulations and standards requirements;
- Collaborating with other departments and/or companies in order to achieve
- Company goals, project objectives and to effectively provide solutions to problems.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum BSc Degree as part of one of the following engineering programs:
- Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering;
- Experience in using CAD systems, preferably in EPLAN;
- Knowledge of CE Directives: EMC, LVD. Working knowledge of industry codes and standards. Knowledge of applicable industrial standards for hardware design (IEC, UL, functional safety etc.);
- Experience in implementation of continuous improvement and quality, improvement efforts;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural team within a matrix organization and ability to influence and motivate others;
- Team player, open minded, enthusiastic, extremely motivated and determined behaviour;
- Good problem solving and decision-making ability, strong measuring, testing, troubleshooting and error analysing skills;
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in English.
