ABOUT THE JOB

Ceva-Phylaxia seeks applicants for the full-time position of Reliability Engineer within the Maintenance Department of Ceva’s Phylaxia Campus in Budapest’s 10th district. This is an onsite role with flexibility, requiring presence at the campus while offering a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Phylaxia Campus is one of the flagship sites of the Ceva Animal Health group. The Maintenance team plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, supporting production reliability, and enabling continuous improvement by implementing best-in-class maintenance systems and solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will drive maintenance development projects, improve preventive maintenance systems, and represent Maintenance in capital expenditure (Capex) processes. You will contribute to enhancing equipment efficiency, increasing reliability, and supporting production teams through technical expertise and structured problem-solving.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Improve maintenance processes and production equipment efficiency through error analysis, action planning, and execution.
• Represent Maintenance in Capex processes, including specifications, design reviews, handover processes, and engineering standards development.
• Manage small-scale development projects (up to 50 kEUR) within the Maintenance organization.
• Establish and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) systems for new investments.
• Conduct root cause analyses using TechDB worksheets and technical failure databases; develop and implement recommendations for equipment, process, or personnel changes.
• Create training materials and deliver training sessions to support implementation of new processes and systems.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Education: Engineering degree (college or university level).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• Languages: Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Technical knowledge: Familiarity with problem-solving techniques (e.g., FMEA, 8D); knowledge of maintenance systems and engineering project support.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• Advanced expertise in applying structured problem-solving techniques.
