NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (Java, AWS) in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the design and implementation of new functionalities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Own the code delivery process, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance up to production environments.
Facilitate technical discussions, conduct code and architectural reviews, providing mentorship to other developers.
Create technical designs, perform architectural decompositions, and evaluate task complexities.
Lead sprint and release planning sessions.
Author and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
5+ years of Java development experience.
Proficiency in Spring Ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with Docker and GIT.
Strong background in RESTful API and messaging design.
Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Extensive experience with AWS.
Proficiency in bug tracking systems like JIRA.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

WILL BE A PLUS:
Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL storage.
Deep understanding of microservices and serverless architectures.
In-depth expertise in Apache Kafka.
Expertise in Kubernetes or other container orchestrators.
Knowledge of security protocols like JWT, OAuth2, SAML.
