Introduction
We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the SAP Hungary team for a long-term project with remote work.

Tasks
Project Leadership:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive program plan encompassing software development, cloud migration, and integration efforts.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies, proactively implementing solutions to maintain program timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of software developers, cloud engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing program environment, promoting open communication and problem-solving.
Software Development Management:
• Partner with development teams to define software requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new applications.
• Oversee the implementation of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) for efficient software development and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to software development best practices and established coding standards.
• Track and monitor software development progress, identifying and resolving roadblocks impacting delivery timelines.
Cloud Migration Management:
• Develop a comprehensive cloud migration strategy aligned with program objectives and organizational needs.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to ensure seamless workload migration and integration with existing systems.
• Manage cloud migration timelines and budgets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient transfer of workloads.
Communication & Reporting:
• Provide clear and concise program status updates to senior management and key stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including program plans, risk assessments, and communication plans.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address any concerns throughout the program lifecycle.
Requirements
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of leading complex software development and/or cloud migration programs.
• In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is preferred.
