Our American multinational partner company is looking for a Statutory and Tax Accounting Controller colleague for team.

The Statutory and Tax Accounting Controller will manage the end-to-end statutory reporting process and compliance activities with respect to the assigned entities.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum 4 years of accounting/audit experience, and fluent English knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a Statutory and Tax Accounting Controller:

·         Management of the end-to-end local statutory reporting processes for some EMEA and/or AP legal entities

·         Responsible for managing the preparation of the statutory financial statements and ensuring that those are in line with the regulations and policies

·         Overseeing the statutory adjustments made and proposed by the SSC Cebu team and/or the service providers

·         Preparing reconciliations between the statutory, tax, and US-GAAP ledgers for the EMEA countries assigned

·         Working together with the tax service provider in relation to the preparation of the tax returns

·         Reviewing the accuracy and completeness of the statutory financial statements and tax calculations and ensuring the timely filing

·         Ensuring other compliance-related activities of the legal entities

·         Responsible for supporting the statutory audit processes

·         Making suggestions how to improve and make more efficient the statutory accounting processes

Requirements:

·         Significant work experience in an international environment

·         Minimum 4 years of accounting experience

·         Master’s degree in accounting

·         Solid IFRS and US-GAAP knowledge

·         Relevant international statutory experience

·         Fluent English mandatory, both written and oral

·         Very good communication skill
