Job Description
Tasks:

Implementation, Administration, and Migration of VMware vSphere, NSX, vRealize Suite (Automation, Orchestration, Monitoring, etc.), vSAN, Horizon infrastructures
Implementation, Administration, and Migration of Microsoft Windows or Linux system environments
PowerShell, PowerCLI, REST, and scripting
Leading automation and standardization of workflows with appropriate scripts
Project planning and execution of commissioning and operations
Problem and error analysis, troubleshooting even in complex systems or system landscapes
Creation of decision templates and concepts
Projecting and leading the execution of complex orders, including the disposition of resources and suppliers
Conceptualization, initiation, and monitoring of measures to ensure service levels and customer satisfaction
Creation of strategic concepts for organizational structures
Contributing to the development of the portfolio
Participation on on-call duties , independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within the defined expertise

Qualifications

Masters or diploma degree with appropriate professional experience or equivalent knowledge and skills
At least seven years of professional experience, including at least five years in IT administration with a corresponding level of complexity
Extensive experience with VMware vSphere, vRealize Suite, Horizon infrastructures
Good experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux infrastructures as well as central services (AD, DNS, DHCP, File, NFS, SAN, Storage, etc.)
Very good knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalling, overlay networks)
Extensive experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, REST, and scripting
Certifications: VCP, VCAP
Strong customer-oriented, entrepreneurial thinking and action, also at management level
Highly systematic and structured working style
High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform
Expert knowledge in the targeted area of responsibility as well as very good knowledge in adjacent technologies
Very high cooperation, team, and conflict resolution skills
Very good German and English language skills
