We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing methodologies and tools, particularly LoadRunner and JMeter. As a DevOps Performance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our applications and systems in a fast-paced DevOps environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and quality assurance, to identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

What You Will Do:
Performance Testing: Plan, design, execute, and analyze performance tests using LoadRunner and JMeter to assess the performance, scalability, and stability of our applications and systems.
Test Planning: Collaborate with project teams to define performance testing objectives, scope, and test strategies, ensuring alignment with project requirements and performance goals.
Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, to accurately replicate production environments.
Test Scripting: Develop and enhance performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter, ensuring they accurately simulate real-world scenarios and user behaviors.
Test Execution and Monitoring: Execute performance tests, monitor system behavior, collect and analyze performance metrics, and identify performance bottlenecks, such as high CPU usage, memory leaks, or network congestion.
Performance Tuning: Work closely with development and operations teams to diagnose performance issues, optimize application code, database queries, and infrastructure configurations to improve system performance.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive performance test reports, including test results, analysis, and recommendations for performance improvements. Document performance testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and QA engineers, to promote a culture of performance testing, monitoring, and optimization throughout the software development lifecycle.
Automation and Integration: Identify opportunities to automate performance testing processes and integrate performance testing into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in performance testing and participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Computer Science / Information Technology
Proven experience as a Performance Tester, specifically with LoadRunner or JMeter.
Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficient in scripting and executing performance tests.
Solid understanding of web-based and client-server application architectures, as well as RESTful APIs.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization of web applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, automation
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell).
UNIX/Linux and AWS knowledge is welcomed.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
Good communication skills (English) with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
