Your role in a nutshell:

The end-to-end management of local market sourcing activities under the strategic guidance of the Team Lead. As the first point of contact for sourcing demands, you’ll guide the business on the correct sourcing channels, negotiate and contract with locally sourced suppliers and ensure the delivery of commercial value with close alignment to Vodafone and external policy

What you’ll do:

You will be the first point of contact for the business procurement demand, guiding the business through the correct sourcing channels
End to end supplier contract negotiation for locally sourced suppliers, working closely with relevant support functions (Legal, Privacy, Risk, Tax, HR etc.)
Demand management excellence (questioning, challenging, and influencing business demand) and execute requests appropriately based on risk factors and business context
Accountable to perform to team KPI’s and SLA’s (savings, speed to contract, value creation)
Support the end to Purchase to Pay cycle for local requests, including reviewing Work Orders and Shopping Carts less than €1m in value, to ensure compliance to relevant policies
Day to day management of Vodafone local suppliers to optimize supplier performance
Advise on new approaches, propose continuous improvement of processes and procedures

What you will bring to the team:

Fluent English skills
Previous experience or exposure to procurement or sourcing activities
Ability to work autonomously, make decisions and advise stakeholders throughout the procurement cycle
Good commercial and negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills & well developed written & verbal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Strong commercial and contract negotiation background
3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement or purchase to pay operations is required, preferably in a similar industry
Ability to operate effectively in a changing and multicultural environment
