Job summary:
As the Finance Transformation Project Manager at the Regional Financial team of EEFT segment of Euronet, you will play a pivotal role in driving change and innovation within our finance department. You will be responsible for leading and executing various finance transformation projects, ensuring they are completed successfully on time and within budget.

We are looking for a profile with knowledge of end-to-end financial processes, external or internal audit/control experience, understanding of the main control points in finance and related fields. The role includes the improvement of the documentation of financial procedures (e.g., writing and review of procedures and policies), carrying out individual control tasks, contributing to the harmonization of processes and procedures across ~30 countries and entities.

Responsibilities:
Process management:
– Ensuring processes and controls’ effectiveness and efficiency.
– Monitor existing monthly controls, KPIs and SLAs.
– Align, integrate, and collaborate with countries’ financial teams in order to ensure – common understanding of control points.
– Identify process improvement or harmonization opportunities taking into consideration the country/business specificities where applicable and propose possible solutions.

Project management:
– Lead end-to-end project management for finance transformation initiatives, from planning and initiation to execution and closure.
– Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against them.
– Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
– Serve as a primary point of contact for all stakeholders and cross-functional teams, communicating project objectives, status and key milestones effectively to ensure transparency and alignment.

Transformation, communication and change management:
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
– Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions.
– Ensure transparency in communication plans to ensure successful business adoption of process changes.
– Improve finance documentation by preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, policies or desktop guides for descriptions of processes or controls.
– Facilitate productive meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive project progress and decision-making

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering). PMP or other relevant project management certifications preferred but not required.
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance transformation, with a strong track record of managing complex transformation projects within a multinational organization preferably in industries with high transaction volume.
– Fluent English required; other languages would be valued.
– Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
– Experience with financial procedures at a multinational company.
– Ability to deal with ambiguity.
– Structural thinking, good writing skills, ability to create flow charts.
– Good analytical skills.
