Polyol Product development engineer
based in Százhalombatta

who will be responsible for giving technical input during the implementation of the Polyol Project in connection with the definition of the initial product portfolio, and the development of necessary technical competencies and required R&D related infrastructure with special focus on the laboratory reactor systems.
After commercialization, executing R&D projects focusing on the extension of the polyol product portfolio, improving efficiency and competitiveness.

The main responsibilities:
• Contributes to the initial definition and regular updates of the polyol product portfolio
• Supports scale-up by generating data and specific process steps and coordinates the work of laboratory technicians
• Executes development projects, creates work plans, reports project progress and ensures milestone delivery (polyol and propylene glycol segment)
• Supports the development, introduction and commercialization of new products, and contributes to productivity and quality improvement projects for existing products
• Supports the development of the Polyol R&D capabilities, including general and specific technical, product and application-related knowledge as well as laboratory setup
• Actively contributes to idea generation initiatives and technical and commercial analyses of new R&D project proposals in the polyol segment
• Contributes to the investigation of new application areas for polyols and propylene glycols, monitors relevant standards and technical requirements
• Performs critical analysis of relevant industrial R&D trends

The perfect candidate:
• MSc in chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent
• Expertise in polyol application and Polyurethane industrial processing knowledge
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Excellent presentation and project management skills
• Speaks an advanced level of English
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools
• Driving licence
• International experience is an asset
