NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th District). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability and stability of the IT infrastructure
Support end users locally and remotely
Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and other related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain and update documentation related to IT infrastructure, including system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user manuals
Work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure
Collaborate with vendors and other third-party providers to obtain necessary hardware and software components

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking protocols
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
At least intermediate level of English; Ukrainian would be an advantage
